DC to NYC for a Nice Lunch, Broadway Show and Back!

Yesterday, we took some clients to Manhattan (our DC to New York City door-to-door service) from Northern Virginia to see the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.  Of course the Rockettes are always spectacular.  As a special Happy Birthday treat, our clients wanted to take their mom up to see her favorite celebrity, Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars, who is performing with the cast.

We left at 7:30AM, arriving in New York City just before noon, in plenty of time for our clients to have a nice lunch at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, home of the “Singing Wait Staff”, which is just two blocks from Radio City.

Our clients thoroughly enjoyed the 3PM matinee show and we took “mom” for a drive to see the Freedom Tower and the Statue of Liberty, since she had never been to Manhattan.  We popped out at the Holland Tunnel, heading back to their home in Northern Virginia, where we arrived at the reasonable hour of 10:00PM after a stop for a refreshing Starbucks along the way.

For the three of them, the price for a round-trip of our DC-to-New York Door-to-Door Car Service was more economical than purchasing three train tickets on the Acela or even the Amtrak Northeast Regional.  Also, “mom” walks a bit slower these days, so hustling up and down stairs and bustling through busy train stations in New York and Washington DC is a bit too hectic, and not the relaxing, enjoyable day they had in mind!  A comfortable trip in the car service was just perfect.
